On Wednesday February 26, a delegation from the Kanata North Business Association (KNBA) travelled to the Provincial Legislature in Toronto to meet with Ontario Cabinet Ministers on priority issues for the local high tech sector and the Kanata North community. The delegation was lead by KNBA Chair Vicki Coughey, President Jamie Petten and a number of business representatives from the community.

Kanata-Carleton MPP Merrilee Fullerton facilitated the “Kanata North Day” visit and hosted meetings with her cabinet colleagues and government officials. Here are photos from the series of meetings.

Minister Fedeli is very familiar with KNBA and the economic footprint of Kanata-North. The Minister tweeted out the following: "Happy to hear from @KanataNorthBA and their 500+ companies located in Technology Park. Minister @DrFullertonMPP is always boasting about their emerging subsectors and the 33,000+ jobs these companies provide. A big impact on our economy!"
